Sara and Ben first met in primary school where they shared a playground romance before going on separate journeys, until they were reunited around 6 years ago after chatting on Facebook.
Ben surprised Sara by proposing to her whilst they was on a winter holiday in New York City. Ben chose a rose gold Morganite diamond halo engagement ring for Sara and went down on one knee at the River Café restaurant beneath Brooklyn Bridge where she gladly said ‘yes’.
Sara and her 27 hens went to Edale Gathering in the Peak District for her hen party, where she was surprised by her bridesmaids with a festival themed party in luxurious tented safari lodges on a private upland farm. Ben and four close friends jetted off to Las Vegas for 5 nights and, just a few weeks later, Ben was surprised by his best men and 19 friends with a trip to the Belgian city of Ghent for further Stag party shenanigans.
Sara chose the first and only dress she tried on. The colour of the tulle skirt was blush with a layer of champagne and a top layer in ivory. The see through netted back was complimented by a line of buttons surrounded by an elegant floral stitching.
Sara’s accessories comprised a rose gold bangle and, to match her engagement ring, rose gold Morganite earrings. In her hair she wore fresh flowers.
They chose the King Evelthon Beach Hotel & Resort for both the wedding ceremony and reception because it caught their eye as soon as they began looking. Its modern fresh appearance was just how they imagined our wedding abroad. They chose the rooftop terrace for the wedding reception because of the stunning views it offers, especially at sunset.
